What People Are Doing With Their High-End Cars In Dubai Seems Completely Insane

The United Arab Emirates is one of richest countries in the Middle East. Despite the recent financial crisis and the falling price of oil, the country’s economy still remains strong. However, like any other modern country, the UAE has its fair share of problems. These problems range from the typical (poverty, high price of living) to the truly bizarre.

One of the UAE’s bizarre problems, specifically in the city of Dubai, is the problem of high-end luxury cars being frequently abandoned in local airports’ parking lots. Why would someone abandon a perfectly good luxury car? The reason makes more sense than you would think…

This is a familiar sight when walking around the country’s airport parking lots.

Dusty sports cars, long abandoned, clog up parking lots.

It’s not just BMWs and Mercedes vehicles that get abandoned in Dubai. It’s also Ferraris and Porsches.

According to the BBC, a Ferrari Enzo worth more than $1 million was once abandoned in a Dubai airport parking lot.

So why are people leaving their luxury cars at the airports in Dubai?

The answer is actually relatively simple: Sharia law.

The UAE, like many Arab countries in the Middle East, observes Sharia law. Under Sharia law, not paying your debts is a criminal offense.

If you fall behind on your car payments, bounce a check, stop paying your credit card, or default on your mortgage, you go to prison. There is no bankruptcy protection in the UAE.

This means that all those fancy cars gathering dust in airport parking lots across the UAE were abandoned by owners who chose to escape the country instead of going to prison.

Many people took out big loans for fancy cars when things were booming as a way to keep up with their peers. Things then took a turn, and many decided to fly the coop rather than face jail time.

Both locals and foreigners are being blamed for abandoning their expensive cars.

When police discover an abandoned car, they issue a warning notice. If the owner fails to appear after 15 days, the car is impounded.

Most impounded vehicles are never claimed by their owners. Police then auction off the cars, usually for pennies on the dollar.

No puedes parar, si no, seguramente te caerás.

Bizarre subculture that’s gone viral will either disgust or make you proud

They burn money, destroy expensive clothes and pour bottles of alcohol on the ground. The ‘Izikhothane’ live well beyond their means, spending more money than they and their parents can afford in order to be cool. This South African craze is as intriguing as it is shocking.

<iframe src=”https://www.youtube.com/embed/4CGTxfwBbbM?rel=0″ width=”560″ height=”315″ frameborder=”0″ allowfullscreen=”allowfullscreen”></iframe>

Several townships in Johannesburg, mainly Soweto in the south and Diepsloot in the north, claim to be the birthplace of ‘Izikhothane’ youth culture, also called ‘Skhotane’ and ‘Ukukhothana’ in other neighbourhoods. The term – Zulu for “to lick” – apparently has several origins.

Some say it refers to the action of licking the fingers to peel through bundles of money to spend on clothes, shoes and alcoholic spirits. Others say it refers to being drenched in ‘Ultramel’, a local custard considered a luxurious desert in black townships, and of licking hands and clothing

Ayah usir anak dari rumah. Anak balik bertahun2 kemudian, buktiin ayah salah.

Apa pendapat anda?

10 Jobs That Could Make You A BILLIONAIRE.

If you’re looking to become the next billionaire like Warren Buffet, Bill Gates, Carlos Slim, Liliane Bettencourt and Mark Zuckerberg, then look no further.

We gathered up some helpful tips on how you can kick-start your journey to financial success.

Billionaires’ Degree Backgrounds

You might be wondering if having a degree is necessary in becoming a billionaire, the answer is… NO, it isn’t.

A study made by Approved Index in 2015 showed that one third of the world’s top 100 billionaires had made their fortunes without a tertiary education. While most of them have obtained higher educational qualifications, you can see that some were able to make it big without a tertiary education.

Microsoft founder-cum-philanthropist Bill Gates, he dropped out of Harvard in 1974. Another famous Harvard dropout is Facebook founder, Mark Zuckerberg. And then there’s Amancio Ortega, the man behind Zara, who left school at the age of 14 and never looked back.

If you are still bent on going to a university and getting that degree though, the best degree we can suggest is one in engineering because it has the highest salary compared to the others.

Other Highlights of the Study

  • 39% of billionaires come from the USA; the next top billionaire producer is Germany with 8%, followed by China and Russia (6% each). UK makes up just 2% of the top 100 billionaires.
  • 19 per cent made their fortune through tech; 15 per cent made it through retail.
  • 22 % have studied engineering.
  • An arts degree has created more billionaires than STEM subjects like math and science.

An estimated $160 million (£128.7 million) in charity giving, combined with Britain’s high tax rates, briefly caused Rowling to lose her billionaire status in 2012. The New York Times, though, recently ran a story estimating her fortune to be worth $1.2 billion after the success of Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them and a series of stage productions.

It’s important to understand that no two success stories are the same. There is no set recipe to becoming a billionaire. One move could make someone the richest person in the world, seemingly overnight, but the same move could be your undoing.

It often takes years of hard work and dedication (and quite a bit of luck) as well as taking risks, failing and learning from your mistakes before joining the likes of Jeff Bezos, Bill Gates and Mark Zuckerberg on the list of the world’s billionaires. But even then, there’s no guarantee for success.

If all else fails, though, keep trying your luck at the lottery or consider marrying a billionaire instead of becoming one.

Can you think of any other jobs that could make you a billionaire to add to the list? Join the conversation below and let us know!

Girl left in shock when cheap-AF bf proposes. Wait till you see what he did!

Love is in the air, and marriage proposals are getting more creative!

Many guys try to make their proposal as memorable as they can – which was what Mark Stacey intended to do.

He turned to his favorite restaurant – Pauli’s – a hamburger joint that wanted to be there to help out any couples who share a love of hamburgers along with their love for each other.

Pauli’s is offering a $8000 hamburger to lucky couples who want to commemorate their love.

It comes complete with a designer diamond ring stuck right there in the bun, and the restaurant requires 48 hours’ notice if you plan on taking them up on it.

“It’s the Big Boy Burger proposal, nothing says ‘I love you’ like a ring with barbecue sauce dripping down your arm, right?” said Pauli’s owner Paul Barker.

Guy has dinner with future mom-in-law. Discovers fiance’s dark past by mistake

There are some couple’s who know they’re meant to be together, others who believe that they were destined to be together and then there is Ed and Heidi Savitt.

The young couple first met in 2011, back when they were both students at Newcastle University in the United Kingdom. Ed had moved into a student house that Heidi had previously occupied, and he needed help with the dryer, so he texted Heidi to see how to get it to work. Since that fateful text was sent, they became inseparable, and eventually, their courtship led to wedding bells. They got married this past summer, at the young age of 26.

However, their story had only just begun.

Apparently, when Heidi’s mom, Kay Parker, first met Ed, she got a suspicious sensation that she knew him somehow. There was something about him that she just couldn’t put her finger on, and try as she might, she couldn’t figure out what that thing was. She wanted to get to the bottom of it, so she decided to put out her feelers.

At a dinner party in which Ed’s mom, Fiona, was also attending, Kay decided to mention in passing a story about a family sailing trip to Turkey when Heidi was just 6. Heidi had a cute “holiday boyfriend,” Kay recalled, one whose name also happened to be Ed. “The two cuties played together and held hands during the entire two-week break in Turkey!” she exclaimed! Though Fiona did agree that it was a coincidence and even smashed her wineglass at the name thing, she didn’t give it much thought for the rest of the night. Kay, however, did, and when she got home, she decided she was going to get to the bottom of this once and for all.

The next day, Kay went digging in the attic for old photographs of Heidi. In her stack of Heidi photos, she found something she would never have expected: a photo of Heidi and Ed taken 20 years earlier. Kay showed Heidi, who had forgotten about her childhood romance (as most children do), what she’d uncovered, and Heidi’s eyes went wide with surprise.

Standing next to her was six-year-old Ed, and his face was still recognizable even with his adorably unfashionable bowl haircut. Heidi told the Daily Mail:

“I was screaming, it was just unreal. It’s crazy to think we could have got married, shared our lives together, but then never found out about this.”

And when Kay showed Fiona what she’d found, the groom’s mother shrieked and yelled, “Oh my goodness, that’s Ed!”

Heidi, who never put much stock in fate, has since changed her stance. As evidenced by the photograph, taken 20 years earlier, it became clear to Heidi that fate must have worked its magic and brought her and Ed together.

Kay believes that when Heidi and Ed met all those years later at the university, they must have somehow realized that they had met before and that they shared an incredible experience together, which she believes is what likely drove them together. Heidi agrees, and she says that the moment she met Ed, she knew he was the one.

Heidi and Ed’s incredible story proves that fate has a way of bringing people together, even if it does take 20 years to do so.

Cosa vuoi conservare esattamente in casa? “

Quindi procedette a guidare verso casa.

Lafave l’a alors arrêtée.
